As of my last knowledge update in January 2022, Google Forms itself does not have a built-in feature that notifies teachers or administrators when a respondent leaves the tab or navigates away during a quiz or test. When a user is taking a Google Form, the platform typically focuses on recording the responses to the form questions.

However, some educational platforms or learning management systems (LMS) may integrate Google Forms and provide additional features. In these cases, it’s possible that the system could track whether a user has left the tab or taken actions outside of the form. These features would depend on the specific capabilities of the platform used by the educational institution.
